In Summa is the exclusive software agent for Hexagon’s CAE software (formerly known as MSC Software) in the Benelux region. Through CAE, or simulation software, customers like Philips can precisely shape their razor blades to reduce skin irritation. NASA can safely launch its rockets into space, and General Motors can weld its cars together faster and better. Stronger, faster, more sustainable, safer – it’s your job to share these stories with our (potential) customers!

What characteristics define an InSummist?
- You have a strong knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including both metalworking and injection molding applications. This enables you to introduce our manufacturing simulation solutions to new and existing customers who want to add simulation to their manufacturing workflows.
- You love hitting the road to talk about it with as many people as possible (both domestically and internationally). Trade shows, customer visits, and phone calls are your tools for this!
- You see yourself managing a fantastic client portfolio and expanding it in trending multi-physics domains, from Fluid Dynamics to Additive Manufacturing, autonomous driving, and data management for engineering processes.
- You know how to navigate a multinational environment but also enjoy working with agile and dynamic SMEs.
- You thrive on building relationships with companies from the ground up, supporting their engineering teams every step of the way.
- You’re not afraid of administrative necessities and understand the benefits of drafting sales plans, preparing contracts, or exploring online platforms (like LinkedIn) for new opportunities.

What do we expect from you?
- Bachelor but preferably Master in mechanical engineering.
- Minimal 2-5 years of experience with Engineering Simulation Software (MSC Software, Ansys, Siemens, Abaqus, etc.) as a user, application engineer, and/or account manager.
- A commercial mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Residing in the Netherlands or Belgium.
- “On the road” travel within the Benelux/Northern EMEA is not an issue.
- Methodical and goal-oriented, motivated to meet targets and achieve objectives.
- Excellent proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, is a must. Knowledge of French is definitely a plus.
InSumma aims to further expand its CAE offering and become the preferred partner in the Benelux for all engineering simulation challenges — from manufacturing and preliminary analysis to advanced analysis and this in a wide variety of different industrial sectors.
